Ginger Ale
Ginger ale is safe during pregnancy and is one of the most commonly recommended drinks for managing morning sickness and nausea.

Ginger ale is safe to drink during pregnancy and is one of the drinks most often recommended for easing nausea and morning sickness. Ginger has the best evidence base of any natural remedy for pregnancy nausea, and ginger-containing drinks can help settle the stomach during the first trimester when nausea is typically worst. However, it is worth noting that most mainstream commercial ginger ale (including many supermarket brands) contains very little actual ginger — it is flavoured with ginger extract or artificial flavouring and is essentially a fizzy sweet drink with a ginger taste. If you want the genuine anti-nausea benefit of ginger, look for ginger beer or ginger ale that lists real ginger or ginger extract prominently in the ingredients, or make ginger tea from fresh ginger instead. That said, even commercial ginger ale is safe and the carbonation may itself help with nausea, regardless of ginger content. Ginger ale contains sugar, so moderation is sensible as with any sweetened drink. Diet ginger ale is also safe. There is no caffeine in standard ginger ale.
