Blueberry and banana smoothie
A quick, nutrient-dense drink packed with antioxidants, potassium, folate, and natural energy.
Pregnancy tip: Using frozen blueberries makes the smoothie thick and cold without needing ice. Freeze ripe bananas in advance for an even creamier result.
Ingredients
- 150g frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
- 200ml milk or oat milk
- 100g full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (optional)
Method
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Taste and adjust — add a little more milk if too thick.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
